Job Description
Successful candidate is part of the infrastructure team responsible for Windows network administration, including:
Windows domain administration, including DNS management
Exchange administration
Backups
Security
Firewall management
Complex TCP/IP routing across multiple sites and to the Internet.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as handle network-down situations quickly and effectively.
Must be available for on call rotation, as well as 11:30 PM 3:30 AM Monday evenings when necessary for routine system maintenance.
Requirements
Education
B.S. in Computer Science or related field
Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSE desirable
Experience
Network administration and troubleshooting experience in a multi-domain Windows 2003 environment. Experience with migrating users between domains.
Experience configuring, administering, upgrading and troubleshooting Exchange 2003 and 2007. Experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server is a plus. Must have experience supporting and troubleshooting Exchange information over a variety of mobile devices.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco IOS based routers and switches, including VLAN management, OSPF, BGP routing.
Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco PIX/ASA firewalls. Must have experience in configuring and troubleshooting IPSec VPN connections, and in managing firewall failover both between devices and between physical sites.
Experience setting up Windows in a VMWare Infrastructure environment
