As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for the design, development, programming and troubleshooting of database, Windows desktop, web and server software components in both new and existing state-of-the-art medical products.

You will aid in designing and coding of software solutions in a multi-tier environment, specifically in the areas of database and data access. Working through the product life-cycle, you will develop reusable platform software components from design to unit testing. Utilizing your problem analysis skills, you will aid in resolving issues found in integration and system testing as well as in products in the field.
In addition to a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, a successful track record of experience in a software product development environment using a formal software process is required for this role. Strong database experience in one or more RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) is required. Windows programming experience including .NET and C# is required. Practical experience with object oriented (OO) design including UML is essential. Experience with data modeling tools, WCF, Entity Framework, Linq to SQL, EDI and WPF are a plus. Prior medical device industry experience is a plus. You must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and thrive in a team environment
