Fuzz Productions, LLC is seeking a Jr. Front-End Web Developer to join our team in Northampton, Massachusetts. In addition to knowledge of XHTML, CSS3, and JavaScript / JQuery, the ideal candidate must demonstrate a clear understanding of creating templates for Drupal and WordPress sites. The ability to communicate snafus with project managers and to brainstorm solutions with the team is a must.
Required Technical Skills
Experience with XML, XHTML, CSS3, Javascript / JQuery.
Ability to turn a Photoshop design into a functional web UI.
Familiarity with browser compatibility issues and fixes.
Experience developing WordPress and Drupal sites.
Personal / Team Skills
You have solid time management and multi-tasking abilities.
You are comfortable working under tight schedules and handle pressure well.
You keep project managers informed on a daily basis of progress, problems and proposed solutions.
You adhere to standards-based coding, your tags / classes are semantically appropriate, and you clearly comment your work.
You are familiar working within a small team developing code using version control systems such as GIT.
You have an eye for detail and well-honed bug-hunting skills.
You have a passion for learning new web technologies.
Nice to Haves
Experience developing iPad and iPhone compatible websites.
