The Senior Technical Solution Architect is responsible for positioning the strategic and tactical superiority of Taleo's technology to prospective customers, specifically in the areas of Infrastructure, Integration, Security and Architecture.  This individual must have a track record of knowledge and expertise in SaaS solutions and be able to communicate this knowledge to C level executives as well as deep technical domain experts.  The Senior Technical Solution Architect works with the Sales team to develop strategic and tactical sales plans to win the business.  This position requires a self starter that is capable of effectively managing their time and completing multiple projects simultaneously in the fast paced sales environment.

Responsibilities include:

â?¢ Ability and interest to travel and work self directed in a virtual environment
� Facilitate and maintain strong relationships with Taleo's product development, marketing, services and production teams
â?¢ Positioning and presenting brand new technology to customers and prospects
â?¢ Collaborating with the sales team in the preparation and execution of individual technical sales strategies for Taleo prospects and cross support for our install base
� Conducting needs analysis and surveys to fully understand the prospect or customer organization's key technical requirements. 
â?¢ Developing and delivering "standing ovation" technical presentations using Taleo's tools that align with the organizations key technical business drivers
â?¢ Positioning Taleo's value proposition as part of our overall business solution, linking these benefits back to the key technical issues/drivers of the prospect or customer
â?¢ Preparing technical responses to RFP's, RFI's, and prospect inquiries
â?¢ Participating in seminars, trade shows, and other marketing activities in order to promote awareness of Taleo and our solutions within the public sector

Qualifications:
Qualifications include the following:

â?¢ 5 years of Solution Consulting experience

â?¢ Must have a deep understanding of the following:
- Middleware
- B2B Integration
- ISO 27000 security standards
- Data Center Management Standards
- Oracle RAC 
- Virtualization
- High volume / High Availability Infrastructure Management 
- J2EE

â?¢ Solid technology skills including knowledge of nTier internet applications, workflow and the application of theses technologies in the context of complex web served applications.

â?¢ Knowledge of data security and privacy laws and regulations

â?¢ Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

â?¢ Strong communication (verbal & written), analytic and consulting skills
