We are searching for a Platform Engineer who is up to the challenge of working on our petabyte-scale analytics platform.
You should be the kind of fellow who reads and answers StackOverflow queries about queueing, processing, and storage technologies such as ZeroMQ, Hadoop, and non-relational data stores. Fluency with Amazon Web Services or an equivalent cloud environment is a good thing, and prior experience working in financial or online advertising markets is a plus. And if your name is Jon Skeet, we'll hire you on the spot.
Our Metamarkets' offices are adjacent to South Park in San Francisco, and we're committed to providing the kind of working environment for engineers that Joel Spolsky himself would approve of: big monitors, comfy chairs, and windows with lots of sunlight.
We are backed by leading institutional investors in New York City and Silicon Valley. Google us if you'd like to get the scoop from TechCrunch or other esteemed VC rags.
Thank you for your attention, and we're glad you met us through this ad, rather than via a recruiter cold call.
