Compensation is extremely competitive, with full benefits, unlimited vaca and equity for every team member.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop robust web applications and services with standard development tools
Help set up and maintain development, test and production environments
Implement APIs and database schemas for new components
Scale web services to support a growing customer base
Apply industry best-practice software standards and technology to complex business problems
Collaborate cross functionally to provide technical solutions to business needs
Maintain clear documentation of processes and communicate task progress
Qualifications:
Strong practical knowledge of PHP preferably PHP5, and/or Java
Knowledge and experience in Apache, MySQL, Linux
Minimal 3+ of professional programming experiences preferably in web based environment
Knowledge in system design around scalability is highly desirable
Understanding of third party sites APIs and frameworks (Facebook, OpenSocial, Flickr, etc) a plus
Familiar with general Internet technologies including HTML, REST, HTTP, CSS, sessions etc
BS/BA Degree
