Front-End Web Developer
Freelance to start (3 month contract)

Here’s who we are:
A small and growing design-centric studio on the hunt for a dynamic, web-focused guy/girl. Our client roster is growing quickly. Lots of web and print. Completely focused on providing holistic solutions, our studio has a wide range of clients and we’re executing a variety of projects that range from brand identity, print collateral, packaging and robust web design & development. And we’re looking for a front-end web developer to add to our diverse team.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
In a nut shell … Thought-leadership with dedicated follow-through. Working for a small shop provides a rare opportunity to learn the business of design, and to be an invaluable asset to the success of the studio. From top to bottom. We’re looking for a hard worker that appreciates the unique challenges that must be solved. From the minutia of production work to high-level conceptualization. As a small shop, everyone on staff does it all. We all get our hands dirty.
The Technical:
• 1+ years experience (freelance & agency preferred)
• Fluent knowledge of HTML / CSS is required.
• Javascript, JQuery, MooTools are a plus.
• Adobe CS+ experience required.
• Working knowledge/understanding of Javascript (and frameworks) is preferred.
• Macromedia Flash & AS2/3 is a plus but not necessary.
• Experience with CMS integration is a plus.
The Mental:
• Must have excellent problem solving skills and love challenges.
• Fully realize the importance of solid information architecture.
• Must be self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
• Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient.
• Strong interest in all online technologies, apps, mobile, social networking, etc.
• Function independently and be able to work as a member of the team.
• Strong communication skills (both in person & in writing) while interacting with individuals with a range of technical understanding.
• Work with other web developer(s) on website implementation.
