Marketing for our client, AnswerLab.

help its clients improve their websites, mobile applications, and software
development initiatives.

clients are a Who?s Who of the internet. They include, Microsoft, Yahoo!, eBay,

and internationally from its headquarters in San Francisco, California.

research helps clients make informed business decisions at crucial points in
the product development lifecycle.
AnswerLab
believes that research must be actionable and inform key business decisions, so
they work closely with clients to clarify business goals and research
objectives before starting a project. They recommend only the most appropriate
and cost-effective research methodology for each individual project, and their
detailed project management processes ensure that clients have a high-quality
experience and are fully satisfied.
To support its
growth, AnswerLab has created a new role? Director of Marketing.
This
position reports directly to the Co-Founder/Managing Partner, a recognized
authority in the user experience field.
The charter
of the role is twofold: Build the AnswerLab brand into the User Experience Research
category leader. And help AnswerLab achieve its aggressive growth objectives.
Key
Responsibilities include:
1. Marketing
Strategy
- Differentiate
everything AnswerLab does ? its marketing, the appearance of its communications,
its recruiting process, everything!
- Build and
execute a high-impact marketing plan
- Serve as the
competitive expert
2. Build and
defend the AnswerLab brand as the category leader
- Lead the development
of a brand new website
- Develop
unique content that includes AnswerLab?s unique ?point of view?
- Create compelling
Case Studies
3. Generate
new business leads cost-effectively for the sales organization
- Test lead
generation programs, including online/offline advertising
- Lead the
public relations program
- Create and
lead the implementation of Events, such as lunch & learns
- Assist
with client proposals
- Develop
methods of keeping in touch with clients and other contacts
- Support the
sales organization with all the materials they need to win new clients
4. Be the
guardian of AnswerLab?s internal experience, because they?re only as strong as
the people we recruit
- Create and
own the new hire onboarding process
- Design and
own the training program for new hires
- Organize
special company events
- Create
Employee & Client referral bonus program
It?s a
fantastic opportunity if we don?t say so ourselves. But it?s also a very high
bar. Here are the keys to success:
- At least
five years of marketing experience, including intangible services (marketing
services, professional services, technology services, legal/accounting
services)
- Experience
with most elements of marketing mix, but especially online marketing
- A
demonstrated passion for great design, user experience, or usability
- Success
putting something new (anything!) ?on the map? ? a new service or product or
brand
- At least
two years experience working in a company with 30 or fewer employees
- Live no
more than 60 minutes from our downtown San Francisco office
- Exceptional
communication skills
- Leadership
skills ? ability to make key decisions and own the results of your work
- Ability
and wiliness to drive execution ? this is a hands-on role the demands attention
to detail and project management skills
