DESCRIPTION
Rain is a digital agency with lots of demand for our technical chops. We specialize in digital mobile and web experiences which support or are supported by traditional marketing efforts. We’re looking to add to our talented iPhone development team to meet the demand for a great abundance of exciting work currently in the pipeline.
At Rain you’ll be working with small teams made up of UX experts, designers, project manager, QA specialists and developers. You’ll have a lot of opportunity for mastery as most of what we do could be described as “cutting edge” and our developers have to be among the best in the business. You’ll have plenty of autonomy since our reporting model and company hierarchy is as flat as we can make it. You’ll need to be good with working with clients and finding and thinking of solutions that meet their needs but which focus on superior user experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interact with clients, exploring and advising technological possibilities, discovering solutions that fit their goals
- Architect and develop iPhone applications and games
- Write clean, structured, object-oriented code with change and reuse in mind
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in writing iPhone applications in Objective C
- Knowledge of using the related development tools (XCode, Instruments, IB, etc)
- Advanced knowledge of UIKit framework
BONUS ROUND
- Demonstrated experience in Flash/Flex, or server-side programming (PHP, ASP.NET)
- Experience in DSP, speech, or audio hardware programming
- You've got solid examples of your work in the iTMS
- Game programming experience
- OpenGL experience
- Experience using Cocos2D
- Prestiged MW2 account, foosball and/or soccer player
