This position is responsible for developing new features on CalFinder.com web properties that are dynamic, usable and scalable. These features will lead the way to informing web consumers and generating home improvement leads. More specifically, responsibilities include:
RESPONSIBILITIES
â?¢ Develop onto industry-leading websites user-generated features and processes'
â?¢ Create web applications using primarily PHP
â?¢ Implement web interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
â?¢ Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
â?¢ Implement Social Media applications
â?¢ Administer Internal Systems
â?¢ Expand Email Marketing Platform
â?¢ Pro-actively look for ways to make the company better
Applicants should be dynamic-minded, detail-oriented, data-munching, idea-creating, and self-driven individual. Experience is not the end-all-be-all meaning we will consider any applicant, whether new to the business world or well experienced as long as the below requirements are met.
REQUIREMENTS
â?¢ Excellent PHP programming skills
â?¢ Knowledge of MySQL and LAMP architecture
â?¢ Knowledge of web technologies: XHTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS
â?¢ Familiarity with web technologies (HTTP, Apache) and Unix/Linux operating systems
â?¢ Solid Search Engine Friendly development habits
â?¢ Highly motivated self-starter, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision
â?¢ Excellent team player, eager to learn and grow with others and to share skills with colleagues
â?¢ Great written communication and documentation abilities
