Simplex Investments is a growing, Chicago-based proprietary trading firm that leverages capital, trading intelligence, and exceptional technological resources in a dynamic, results-driven atmosphere with a focus on innovation and learning.
We have multiple roles open and are looking for talented C++ developers to create and implement trading strategies, applications and systems. Candidates should have between 2-7 years of experience as well as the following:
B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a top-tier program
C/C++ experience on Linux including STL and multithreading
Knowledge of and experience in building systems for low latency
Knowledge of FIX or other protocols used by exchanges for sending orders
Knowledge of some scripting language (Perl, PHP, Python)
Experience with CVS, SVN or other versioning environments
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
No financial experience required
