Plaism Inc.: Junior Rails Developer

We are early stage startup focusing on web and mobile applications. We are looking for an agile Rails developer to build a UNIQUE user created content website. We want someone who takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

- Develop every aspect of the product across the full stack from database to UI 

- Scale and optimize the application as we attract more users

Technology

- Web: Ruby on Rails, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), HTML5, AJAX 

- Data: MongoDB, MySQL 

- Cache: memcached, Redis 

- Server: Linux 

- Source Control: Git 

- Other: OAuth 2.0, janrain 

- Social Platform: Facebook, Google, Twitter

Requirements

- Be able to meet the deadline 

- Enjoy working and sharing thoughts with others 

- Be able to commute to Sunnyvale/Mountain View 

- Up to speed with the latest technology and a self learner 

- Have at least 2+ years of experience working with RoR
