Us: A small, well-funded startup making a killer app for the music industry.

You: Love building rich web apps in Rails, and have a track record of success. Want to play with lots of interesting technologies like MongoDB, Node.js, and Redis. Live in LA, or are willing to relocate.

Were a startup so were looking for the kind of person who is capable and passionate about taking on a wide variety of challenges. We just launched into private beta, so youll be able to get in at the ground floor and have a huge impact.

Your work might involve building the consumer-facing side of the web application, working with the internal APIs used by our desktop client, devising a migration strategy for schema objects, or even building out a public API for external developers. Were working at a breakneck pace adding cool new features and growing our userbase so were looking for someone who can handle anything thats thrown at them. Fortunately, we can afford to pay a premium for someone like yourself who can come in and kick ass alongside us. And our founders are extremely well-connected to the music industry so you can expect a lot of interesting scalability challenges once the recording industrys biggest artists start promoting it.

Requirements:
- Experience building and scaling successful web applications in a web framework like Rails, Merb, or Sinatra
- Great knowledge of Ruby
- Have a firm grasp on the whole web stack - web servers, reverse proxies, databases, long poll, caching, etc

Pluses:
+ Javascript, both the good and bad parts
+ Have built an app with NoSQL in the past
+ Experience with C++ (which powers our client apps) and socket programming
+ Linux system administration experience

This is a full-time position working in our Hollywood (CA) offices. Please, no recruiters.
