Director, Ad Operations
We are a fast-growing online media network based in Los Angeles. This position presents the candidate with an opportunity to work hard and rise quickly in a large corporation.
We are seeking an experienced Ad Operations Specialist to join our team to make an immediate impact and play a key role.
Responsibilities:
â?¢ Traffic, QA & launch all ad creative (HTML, Flash files & 3rd party tags)
â?¢ Review and approve online insertion orders
â?¢ Verify all campaign and creative collateral for each order prior to trafficking process
â?¢ Troubleshoot and resolve ad delivery and technical issues
â?¢ Support the overall delivery of campaigns by ensuring timely trafficking of campaigns, campaign performance optimization, troubleshooting, and reporting
â?¢ Execute change requests and revisions to ad campaigns in a timely fashion to meet deadlines
â?¢ Provide proactive recommendations for budget reallocation, new targeting segments, etc
â?¢ Follow ad operations workflow and recommend process enhancement
â?¢ Ongoing quality assurance support for advertising campaigns and creatives; ensure all live ads function properly
â?¢ Coordinate and communicate across multiple teams to maximize publisher revenue
â?¢ Ensure that campaigns launch on time and are fully executed according to the insertion orders
â?¢ Liaison with publisher and network management teams to oversee proper implementation of campaigns (ad tags, reporting discrepancies, click tracking, etc.)
Qualifications:
â?¢ Bachelor's degree preferred
â?¢ Minimum 1 year of trafficking experience in ad operations or related field using ad serving technology
â?¢ Prior experience with ad management systems
â?¢ Knowledge of online advertising concepts
â?¢ Strong analytic, strategic and creative problem solving skills
â?¢ Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Flash, Actionscript, DHTML, XML, and CSS preferred
â?¢ Prior QA experience
â?¢ Strong technical grasp of ad serving constituent technologies (ad server logic, redirects, pixels and cookies)
â?¢ Experience in working with & optimizing ad networks a plus
