* Design, build and improve upon scalable enterprise applications for clients within the Intelligence Community using Java/J2EE technologies
* Perform tasks requiring knowledge of software applications, coding and design functions, to include software analysis, design, testing, and documentation
* Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance mission critical software
* Actively participate in the teams self-organizing, agile development methodology
* Recommend and design technical improvements to maximize productivity through data exploitation and management
* Drive projects from conceptualization through to successful deployment in an operational environment
* Ability to work both independently and/or in a close team environment is essential
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated experience developing applications using Java/J2EE
* Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
* US Citizenship
* Specific positions may require an active security clearance and/or the ability to attain a clearance

* C#, C++ and/or web development
* UML, XML, XPath, XQuery, XSLT, SOA, Web Services
* Cloud Computing technologies like Hadoop and MapReduce
