Responsibilities:
* Provide system engineering support on large-scale systems, major system elements, and/or interfacing systems
* Provide overall system engineering expertise to the requirements analysis, design, development, testing, data flows, network design and/or solution implementation
* Analyze users requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architecture to develop system requirements specifications
* Develop detailed system architecture and system design documentation
* Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
* Develop system configuration documentation, including detailed designs for capacity planning, security systems and disaster recovery
* May perform engineering activities, including risk assessments and analyses of alternatives for a variety of system related issues and concerns
* Will be required to interface with the following groups: software development, testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment
Requirements:
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Experience in one or more of the following operating systems: Red Hat, Linux, UNIX, Solaris, and Windows
* Design complex collection systems
* Perform tradeoff studies
* Analyze system performance
* Lead analysis of system requirements and modular decomposition
* Perform system audits and analysis to measure system functionality, operation and performance against specified requirements
* Experience using app and web servers
* US Citizenship
* Specific positions may require an active security clearance and/or the ability to attain a clearance
Welcomed Skills:
* Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies
* Implementation of service-oriented architectures (i.e. SOAP and RESTful)
* Experience with Scrum
