Infusion NYC is building its Internet marketing and design practice. One might think all New York needs right now is another agency doing this kind of work, doing ?that Internet thing?. · You have 7 years of experience working on real live stuff seen by real live people for any major agency player, design boutique, or media company.
· You are a master of functional design fundamentals. You can elicit business requirements from clients, glean them from research, create organizational models and site-maps for functions and content, generate user flows, and the annotated GUIs that result from all the preceding.
· You are no stranger to usability testing methods and can talk about test plans you created and managed.
· You have a deep appreciation for making things easy to use. You like simple. Simple is good.
· You can point to your contributions on at least 10 major interaction design efforts where you made all the difference. You can discuss the impact of those efforts because you know our clients expect solid results. You can also explain how small changes had large business impact.
· You are comfortable, composed and articulate on design matters in front of a client, as well as your teammates. In fact, your teams have loved working for you or with you.
· You get frustrated with bureaucracy and obstacles to excellence. However, you are a team player and can keep your cool at all times.
· You are intrigued by and possibly experienced in the next wave of interactive experience such as touch surfaces, environments, and mobile.
· You are a student of HCI and a guru on best practices.
· You most likely have graduated from a great design school, but your endless curiosity could have led you anywhere.
· Above all you love things that work right, where the pieces fit together and the effect is truly memorable--even beautiful for what it is, whatever it is.
