Designer / Product Assistant Redfin is seeking an awesome designer to develop a world-class brand and direct user interactions for our website. Senior or junior, bottom line is we need someone with a gorgeous portfolio, high standards, and a passion for delighting customers. If that?s you, we can adjust the scope of the job accordingly. Here?s what you?ll be doing: ? Designing all things website as part of our UX team. ? Designing new features for our site under the existing brand guidelines, with eye towards how the design will and should change in the future. ? Working with Product Managers and developers, assess requirements, determine solutions and deliver final art. ? Reviewing and processing all incoming photography, proof for accuracy, consistency, and proper execution for our site/print. ? Contributing to our growing design processes and timelines. To succeed, you need to be: ? Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign. (Bonus: HTML/CSS, Flash) ? Hard-working, fun, creative, and organized ? Degreed in visual design, human factor and interaction design. ? Comfortable working alongside creative and non-creative types; communicating your vision and understanding limitations. Before you apply, make sure you?ve got: ? An extremely sophisticated/cutting-edge design sense balancing imagery and clean design. ? Top notch typography skills. ? Personality, personality, personality. ? Strong portfolio with emphasis on visuals usability that speaks clearly to a consumer. ? Logo/icon design experience (it?s a plus).
