GreenPoint Partners, LLC is a new Chicago-based green energy company. We seek an experienced graphic designer with web, electronic, and print media skills to help us launch our company and build our brand -- from the ground up. Our 10-person team kicks off June 1, 2010, and we will move quickly to develop a website and print collateral.

We identify, simplify, and execute initiatives to take action against rising energy costs, improve cash flow from real estate and business operations, and 'go green'. We provide pragmatic, credible, and unbiased professional services from a team of partners with over 250 years of collective energy, real estate, finance, and legal experience.
Job Description
You will work directly with the CEO and other team members to develop the company's website, print collateral, and other electronic marketing. You'll be hands-on, in the trenches, building the brand from the ground-up. This is a start-up company that values speed, creativity, and attention to detail. Flexibility and comfort with ambiguity are important. You must be a self-starter that is passionate about taking ownership and delivering exceptional work. This is not a 40-hour/week job, but it will be highly rewarding for the right candidate. You do not need an energy background for this position.
Job Location
- Preference is to have a designer work from our downtown Chicago office
- However, we will consider applicants from other locations that are otherwise a strong fit
Core Qualifications
- 5+ years graphic design experience, with a strong documented portfolio
- Fluency with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML 5, CSS, other modern design tools
- Strong English verbal skills -- reading, writing, grammar, proof reading, etc.
Additional "Nice to Haves"
- B2B or educational marketing background
- Experience with Flash, Wordpress, and Joomla
Compensation
- Compensation commensurate with experience
- You will be a full-time independent contractor for 30-90 days
- If we work well together, we may hire you as an employee
