We are looking for exceptional software developers to join us in building real-time distributed web applications to gather the investment ideas that drive Two Sigma’s quantitative trading models. In this role, you will be working closely with researchers and relationship managers to develop compelling features and real-time metrics to facilitate the generation of investment ideas and strategies. Your work will be highly visible within the Firm and will be critical to the support and success of our electronic alpha-capture business.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science and experience using several programming languages, including Java, C or C++. Ideal candidates will also have experience with Swing, GWT, Ajax, jsp, JavaScript and Tomcat. Previous work on scalable websites, load balancing and streaming web content is highly desirable.
