Performance Engineering Associates/May be based anywhere in the USAPerformance Engineering Associates (www.pea-online.com) is a niche Bangalore-based consulting firm specializing in the use of scientific, quantitative techniques for performance engineering and diagnosis of IT systems - products and applications. We are looking for folks experienced in IT (either from a systems development perspective or a business development perspective) to generate opportunities for us in the USA. Initially your compensation be based on a referral fee or commission but that can change as soon as we are comfortable with your maturity and handling of the role.
You would operate by establishing contact with senior information technology decision-makers at the Director/VP/CIO level who you know have an ongoing struggle with the performance of their applications and systems, and motivate them to connect with us via email or a call. Once we connect, we can take over much of the actual selling (i.e., if you would like to act primarily as referrer rather than as salesman). At this point in time we are very aggressive about pursuing opportunities and require a mature, seasoned candidate to do this job. Therefore we are offering a very healthy referral fee/commission. To give you an idea, if you get us 1 person-month of work per month (which is the target we would like you to achieve), your earnings will be about US$7000-10000 per month. More information on this structure will be provided to serious candidates, including an explanation of why we are willing to offer such a hefty fee (which is obviously related to why we think this role is difficult).
