We are adding to our staff, and are looking for an internet savvy, dependable and highly motivated UK Ex-pat Deal Entry Rep who can work out of their home office (with a high speed internet connection). Must live in the greater LA area and be able to attend in-office trainings.
You will create and maintain written content for the consumer facing Savoo.co.uk website, providing Members and Visitors with the best possible vouchers and deals on the internet. In this important role, the focus centers on content writing, though your responsibilities will extend to internet research, quality assurance and ultimately, improving operational and technology processes. This career opportunity represents a solid platform for learning and professional growth.
Qualifications for the successful candidate include:
â?¢ UK Ex-pat who is familiar with all major UK retailers and sites.
â?¢ Dogged adherence to UK spelling and grammar, as our customers and clients are all UK based.
â?¢ Bachelor's degree, or some college coursework.
â?¢ Internet savvy with experience in researching and using voucher or comparison shopping sites.
â?¢ Computer proficiency and an interest in learning new technologies.
â?¢ Creative writing skills used in a professional setting.
â?¢ Adept at internet research, particularly the ability to find bargains online.
â?¢ Experience working in online marketing, e-commerce, or content writing is preferred.
â?¢ Commitment to quality in all aspects of your work.
â?¢ Demonstrate sound reasoning, good judgment and common sense.
â?¢ Ability to work independently, take direction and learn quickly, demonstrate initiative, and thrive working in a home office environment.

This is a full-time position, and it will be expected that your hours will parallel standard business hours.
In looking for new Deal Entry staff, we want to find individuals who require very little supervision, and who can remain engaged and contribute regular feedback on the features of the site. A knack for finding the best deals on the internet and a willingness to engage with our growing online community is a must.

Writing Samples:
Along with your cover letter, include 2-3 writing samples for a voucher or deal at your favorite store or stores. A short style guide on how Savoo.co.uk formats our vouchers is below. Review our website to see how our vouchers are posted for examples of this.
a) Create a short phrase that tells what the discount is, e.g. ' Save £10 on Orders of £50 or more.'
b) Include a description of the offer in complete sentences that provides more details on the voucher and how the customer will get the discount, and provide any necessary directives to help them, e.g. 'enter code during checkout.'
c) Be yourself in the overall tone, but keep it relatively simple and easy to read.
d) Avoid overly salesy or superlative words and phrases, no exclamation points or words in all caps.
e) Don't focus on selling the item or brand or merchant; focus your copy on what the discount/voucher is and how the customer will redeem it.
