Summary: Primarily responsible for client data customization requests for the Anodyne Analytics application. The responsibility will include gaining a good understanding of the Analytics business process, inclusive of the T-SQL and SSIS modules. Candidate will create ETL modules using the SQL Server Integration Services and stored procedures. Also responsible for enhancements to existing processes, SSIS packages and stored procedures. The individual will be responsible for testing the process and validation of the data, as applicable. Must have the ability to convert client extracts to data suitable for consumption by SQL Server which in turn will be transformed and added to the schema of the Anodyne Analytics application. Work will require changes to existing data models or creation of new data models. Involves the creation and maintenance of SSIS packages, T-SQL procedures and database schemas, as well as documentation of the schemas and packages for cross training and production support purposes. As part of a growing Operations and Implementations team, will also have ad hoc troubleshooting and support responsibilities.
Qualifications: • Proficiency in SSIS and T-SQL; able to independently write and maintain SSIS packages, stored procedures and T-SQL queries.
• Experienced with the healthcare billing domain and healthcare billing systems, or ability to gain an understanding of the domain quickly. Experience with schemas from specific billing systems (e.g. IDX Flowcast, Groupcast, NextGen) a plus.
• Familiarity in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and initial design through testing and deployment.
• Some experience with data analysis will be a plus.
• Good problem-solving and abstract reasoning skills.
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; can be trusted to interact with both other Anodyne/athenahealth personnel and with clients.
• Works well in a small team environment.
• Oriented around execution and excellence (get things done and do them well).
• Able to be trusted with sensitive patient data.

• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008.
• SSIS

Education and Experience: • 5 years experience in Information Technology or
• B.A./B.S. in relevant field with 3 years experience in Information Technology.
