Your job will be to work with a team of engineers and other team members to design, develop and deliver new ways of recommending movies to our 14+ million customers. Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess strong OO design/development skills and have a proven track record for driving projects from concept to prototype and finally implementation.
* Fluent in Java programming.
* Have a track record of building fast, reliable and highly scalable systems.
* Experience building service oriented architectures.
* The ability to brainstorm and prototype new ideas.
* 4+ years software development with BS or MS in Computer Science
Nice to Have
* Experience with personalization systems, recommender systems, data mining or machine learning in a commercial setting is desired, but not required.
* Experience with A/B testing or "bucket testing" methodologies.
