Cellixis is an open-world personalization platform. We are creating a new paradigm in how users retrieve and interact with information on their mobile devices. Our hard-core machine learning technology allows us to sift through the noise, build interest graphs for users, and figure out what matters to them at any given point of time and location.
The company has been bootstrapped for 2 years and was founded by two Stanford graduate students. We are both highly technical individuals with lots of industry experience on how to launch successful mobile products (we've done it before!). We recently got funded and we are looking for more super talents to augment our founding team.
Btw, Our official technical advisor is Prof. Ullman; the same professor who advised Sergey Brin while he was at Stanford :)

SR. BACKEND ARCHITECT:
You'd create a massively scalable architecture including datastore, web servers, distributed caching, internal APIs, automation, and potentially a distributed crawling system. Your awesome architecture would be the backbone of the platform.
You must have solid experience with the following:
• Full suite of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Distributed datastores (eg. Cassandra, SimpleDB, HBase, etc.), MySQL
• Distributed caching systems (eg. memcached)
• Design commercial grade RESTful APIs
• BIG plus for experience building fully automated and distributed crawlers and information extraction

MOBILE PRODUCT DEVELOPER FOR IPHONE & ANDROID:
You'd help shape the mobile product and develop an awesome mobile app that brings the value of our platform to the masses. We require that you have:
• solid experience developing iPhone apps (you must have at least one successful app in the App Store).
• a passion for writing beautiful and efficient code
• experience with Android development (plus)
• a sharp eye for design, composition, and color
• experience with Photoshop (plus)
