As a Digital Lumen Software Engineer, you will be part of a small, interdisciplinary team of engineers who are smart, driven, and enjoy getting stuff done. The Software Engineer is responsible for:
• Developing, documenting, and maintaining library interfaces and APIs to interact with networks of Digital Lumens lighting equipment and associated products.
• Developing multi-platform (Windows and Mac) customer-facing application software to configure, maintain and control DL installations.
• Devising and implementing Graphical User Interfaces to allow customers to perform different types of operations on DL installations in a rapid and error-free manner.
Software Engineer requirements:
• 3+ years real-world C++ experience.
• Smart, team-oriented, and gets stuff done.
• Passionate about coding, learning, and solving problems.
• Zealous about design, from low level architectures to clean UI to optimized UX.
• Familiar with a broad range of Software Engineering technologies.
• Windows and Mac development experience.
• Qt (Trolltech/Nokia) experience desired.
• Computer Science or Software Engineering BS or equivalent.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
• Web-based application development experience desired.
