Fracture is a new printing company thats doing things differently. You know how you have a digital camera and the 10^8 pictures you've taken with it, but maybe only one or two of them are on your wall? Yea, thats a big problem... and we're solving it. Fracture sells all-in-one print/frame products (we call them "Fractures") that mount directly on your wall - no effort on your part. We like to say that we're the quickest way from anyone's digital camera to their wall. We've got dozens of revolutionary products waiting to come out and we've already started with our legacy glass prints. We're onto something and lots of people are very excited, but we aren't going to get very far without a five-star team of passionate web developers to build Fracture's web community. This is where YOU come in.
We are looking to see if you fit the bill to be our dream Web Developer / Visionary / User Interface Guru / Design Master. We imagine you having a keen eye for design, branding, practicality, customer interaction, and a knack for doing whatever it takes to perform digital miracles. We bet you're a super perfectionist too, yet you're still highly productive because you're almost entirely self-managed, organized, and are more reliable than running water. You probably brag about how little sleep you get. Whoever you are, you will undoubtedly fall in love with our photo decor products and want to cover all your walls with Fractures like peanut butter on bread. In fact, you're probably passionate about lots of things, especially the website you're about to own.
In addition to the personality, you're also gonna need to have real web ninja skills and you'll have to prove it to us. A third degree black belt in CSS, PHP and Photoshop (and other stuff) is a no-brainer. You might know a lot about hard programming and nerdy *nix stuff, but really you'll just need to be able to communicate with that species of human and leave them to do the dirty work. No matter what, you're probably gonna take on whatever you can and magically come out victorious without making other people question you for a second. Really, one of the best ways to tell us what you think you can do is to show us what you've done.
We started Fracture in Gainesville, Florida in January 2009 and we've been selling Fractures publicly since December. We're ready to do whatever it takes to get the best people on the bus, whether that means us moving or you moving.
