If you've shipped large and complex Flash applications (preferably on an embedded system or with Flash Lite), we want to talk to you. We are also interested if you have a strong foundation in C++ or Java with a user experience focus.
Here is what you'll get to do:
Responsible for participating in the architecture and development of new Flash Lite application framework along with a team of local and off-shore developers.
Guide the team towards adoption of industry best practices for ActionScript software development, designer/developer workflow, and build systems for Flash applications.
Communicate clearly and effectively across departments including Engineering, Product Marketing, Quality Assurance, and UI design.
Here is what you'll need to be successful:
Minimum 5+ years of software development in Flash ActionScript, C++ or Java with a user experience focus.
Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and modern software design principals.
Experience connecting user experience components with backend systems.
Ability to identify performance bottlenecks, re-factor and re-implement for improved performance while supporting existing functionalities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Collaborative and product-focused attitude.
BS CS/CE/EE or equivalent highly preferred.
What will really get you noticed by our team:
Experience with developing for Flash Lite is a big plus.
Experience with Embedded system, TV set-top box, or consumer device is a big plus.
Experience working with external compilers such as MTASC.
Experience working with outsourcing companies.
Experience with a Linux/Unix development and build environment or deployment platform.
Experience writing engineering specifications and documentation.
