Data Systems International, Inc., (DSI) is seeking a Software Developer to join our Technology Development team working on the development of J2EE based web applications.
The ideal person in this position needs to have strong Java programming skills, user interface development skills, and data modeling and analysis skills. Primary responsibilities include designing, developing, and documenting Java based server side components and flex/flash based user interface components. Secondary responsibilities may include data modeling and schema design.
Skill Requirements
- Experience with Adobe Flex/Flash rich internet application development.
- Experience with multiple database server platforms (i.e. MS SQL Server, Oracle).
- Familiarity and experience using design patterns.
- Experience with open source development frameworks and tools such as Hibernate, Junit and Ant.
- Familiarity with multiple hardware/software development environments, languages and technologies including MS Windows and Linux variants.
Education
- A Bachelor?s degree in computer science, computer engineering or another related field, plus experience in the following areas or tools:
o Java Web Development
o Database Modeling and Analysis
o Eclipse
