ProSites is currently seeking an experienced Web Designer to join our LA design team. The designer must possess a strong passion for design, an ability to work in Flash, and working knowledge of XHTML and CSS coding. If you are the kind of individual that eats, sleeps and breathes design, than you are our person!
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ability to design and implement creative design mock ups in Photoshop.
- Adhere to overall prosites design standards, procedures and best practices while delivering an innovative, quality design.
- Contribute to the enhancement of pre-existing designs.
- Assist in converting mock-ups into HTML & CSS and integrate the Web Engine.
- Collaborate with our clients to design and deliver high-impact web concepts from start to final launch.
- Work with our Lead Designer and CEO on internal projects.
Requirements
- BA/BS in design field.
- 5+ years in web design.
- Fluent with Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Adobe Flash (Basic animation and some action script).
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Solid understanding of design principles: typography, color, composition, usability, etc.
- A preoccupation with staying on top of design trends and the latest techniques.
- STRONG Online Portfolio
