Symplicity (www.symplicity.com) is seeking a creative and highly motivated Front End Web Designer to join our small user interface team. This person will play a key role in the development of enterprise-level products, services, and sites.
We're looking for a self-directed individual who works well with project managers and back-end developers to identify user needs, design UI concepts, and develop HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with an eye for portable and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Be an advocate for the user experience.
- Deliver innovative and responsive interfaces.
- Design portable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
Required Skills:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser compatibility.
- Experience with JS libraries like YUI, Protoype, and JQuery.
- Working knowledge of PHP.
- Composite design using Fireworks or Photoshop.
Pluses:
- Experience developing with YUI.
- Knowledge of Section 508 Accessibility Guidelines.
- Background in Graphic Design.
