WeatherBill seeks a Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts across several markets, with a focus on the $200B+ Agriculture space. We are looking for someone who will strategically conceptualize and deliver comprehensive programs through our channel partners to businesses as well as consumers.
The Senior Marketing Manager will work closely with field sales, the product team and partner marketing teams to develop programs to meet those demands.
Our ideal candidate has a rich background in defining go-to-market plans and driving integrated campaigns. This person has significant experience in creating, executing and measuring marketing programs, with a successful track record of driving business growth in the small and medium enterprise (SME) markets. In addition, the candidate will be passionate about marketing innovative technology/financial products and services to non-technology buyers, highly collaborative, and results driven.
Much of the work is highly collaborative and fast-paced, and requires responding to multi-faceted industry dynamics as well as competing internal priorities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with subject matter experts on industry trends
* Manage creation of go-to-market plans and drive agreement on themes, market segment, audience, messaging, creative, and engagement model
* Work with Product Marketing to develop messaging that is solution based and focused on customer pain points and/or critical business issues
* Ensure integration and adaptation of campaigns across all target audiences including Channel and Strategic Partners
* Coordinate campaign planning and marketing program process with Field & Channel Sales
* Lead the cross-functional launch process for product and service introductions and inline releases
* Provide content and create deliverables as needed
* Deliver training to internal and external audiences in support of channel development opportunities
* Drive sales acceleration by producing compelling, high-impact presentations that effectively communicate WeatherBill's products
Skills & Key Success Factors:
* Bachelors degree in a business or technical discipline required; MBA preferred
* 8+ years experience in demand generation (program creation and execution)
* Has a deep understanding of the enterprise marketing mix, as well as how the customer and channel in the SME market works, thinks and is influenced
* Must be a master at creating clear, differentiated, and customer-focused product positioning and messaging
* Able to think creatively and strategically about customer, market, and business issues
* Analytically & strategically focused- ability to translate business objectives into marketing strategies
* Customer focus- passion for internal and external customers and unflinching desire to exceed their expectations
* Decisive- Ability to make and support decisions under tight timing and pressure. Must be able to balance decision-making with teamwork and collaboration
* Self-starter- must be able to operate effectively without supervision in a dynamic, entrepreneurial work environment
