As part of this team you will be contribute to architecting, building, and troubleshooting cutting-edge web applications that reach millions of people. We need dedicated and meticulous engineers that take great pride in delivering only the highest quality work. As part of our team, you must be a fluent coder with a strong understanding of OOP and design patterns as understand how to leverage the latest best practices in both front-end and server side design.
Requirements:
• Enthusiasm, dedication and a meticulous attention to detail
• Passion for interactive and experiential software
• Great eye for user interfaces and appreciation for visual aesthetic
• Critical thinking and problem solving with sharp analytical skills• Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns
• Sense of ownership and urgency and a drive to over-deliver on projects
• Able to efficiently learn new programming languages
• A record of delivering high quality software projects
• Willingness and ability to handle requests outside of your core responsibilities
Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience developing interactive, dynamic, data-driven web sites in high traffic, highly-available environments
• Strong knowledge of ActionScript 3, PHP, xHTML, CSS, and JavaScript (preferably jQuery), MySQL
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• Knowledge of Perl, Python, Ruby is considered a plus
