Located in the heart of Berlin, NumberFour is the latest venture of successful entrepreneur Marco Boerries. NumberFour builds on the foundation laid by Marco’s previous products: OpenOffice (office suite), StarMoney (finance management), and Yahoo! Go (mobile internet). We are building an open platform for business application development that will create a new ecosystem for verticalized, innovative business applications.
We’re looking for IDE / Tools Developers
Your responsibilities:
* Help us make creating and deploying business applications fast, simple and fun for our developers.
* Create an IDE for the NumberFour platform which supports advanced editing, refactoring, UI design, debugging, packaging, deployment etc.
* Be part of a dynamic engineering team and its agile development process.
Your profile:
* Completed college computer science degree or equivalent professional experience.
* 3 years of experience in professional product development.
* Experience with the Eclipse RCP platform.
* JavaScript and/or other dynamic languages experience.
* Experience with building compilers (yacc, antlr, and such).
* Experience with tools for dynamic languages (such as DLTK, JSDT) a plus.
* Java, IDE development, platform development.
* Object Oriented Design & Development und Design Patterns.
* Excellent English skills are required.
