The National Parks Conservation Association, the nation’s leading national park advocacy organization, seeks a self-motivated, experienced print Designer to join its dynamic, creative, and high-performing Communications team. This position will provide creative direction and hands-on production experience to ensure that all of the NPCA’s publications and outreach materials maintain consistently high standards and accurately reflect our brand. Primary responsibilities include creative services, oversight, layout and production for our award-winning 4-color magazine, National Parks, and creative supervision relating to maintaining our branding efforts. Bachelor’s degree in design, print, or related field; at least two years of design and production experience; proven experience with desktop publishing software including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; proven knowledge of magazine design, prepress, production, and printing; proven ability to meet deadlines and keen attention to detail. Experience working in a nonprofit environment a plus. Salary in the 40s, DOE.
