The FactSet Engineering team is composed of highly talented and motivated individuals, primarily selected from top-tier technical programs around the world. We believe this approach fosters the continual introduction of new technologies and ideas, which has been critical to our success. Our engineers believe that a key to their, and FactSet’s, success is creating a loose team environment in which everyone can contribute individually, yet at the same time cultivate a community where engineers can depend on each other for help, learning, and development.
Our management approach is to trust and expect the best. We believe in hands-off management and encourage developers to take initiative to complete projects, manage multiple tasks, and set their own individual day-to-day priorities. We also encourage creativity and innovation, since they benefit FactSet in the long run. In our friendly yet professional atmosphere, FactSet offers an excellent opportunity to grow and be a part of a successful team.
The Content Integration Team within FactSet is seeking a talented engineer to developer web interfaces for internal tools used by Database Product Developers. As we provide client facing data across various machines and platforms, the need for user-friendly tools to do data verification and quality checks is becoming more pertinent. Moreover, these tools can also be enhanced to combine several disparate tools into one workflow. Some example projects include:
• Web based file editor that is integrated with perforce and has multi-cluster deployment capabilities
• Web based viewers for Symbology data and Rotate Master
• Web based viewer for Price Database records

• Experience UI programming in .NET
• Experience with both C++ and Perl
• Experience with service-based architecture
Interest in of any of the following technology areas is a plus:
• UI Design
• Script programming in DCL and Bash
