Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess a minimum of three years' supervisory experience; or five or more years leading projects or programs that focus in engineering, finance, or planning.
- Must possess a minimum of two year's experience developing, verifying, and approving operational/transactional reports and metrics.
Core Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with vendors, including developing and reviewing contracts.
- Demonstrated experience with invoicing, as well as service purchase orders for customers and contractors.

- Knowledge of utility or public entity incentive programs.
Typical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership of Operations staff for California Solar Initiative (CSI) and Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) solar & wind applications and will be responsible for the coordination of new customer incentive applications, incentive payments, contract management, reporting on program metrics, and changes to the CSI and SGIP program handbooks. Furthermore, this individual will be responsible for frequent contact with customers and contractors on these issues. As manager, this individual will provide guidance to facilitate employee performance on tasks related to the processing of incentive reservations and payment of incentives. This manager will also review and approve Incentive payments with CSI and SGIP customers, as well as third party owners and other rebate programs. This individual will frequently interface with other groups in the Customer Solar Organization as needed to implement incentives reservations, payments, and program data and reports. The manager will act as the primary contact for answering questions and presenting and explaining Southern California Edison policies and procedures for incentive Reservation and Payment Processing to customers, industry organizations, and business partners. Other duties will include developing business plans, objectives, and initiatives to improve the level of service in processing CSI incentive reservations and payments and acting as a key consultant to Solar Group Management to develop solutions and policies related to solar customer incentives and policies. This includes assisting with the analysis of proposed legislation and regulatory decisions and orders. This individual will also perform typical managerial duties such as selecting staff and managing employee performance and development by conducting performance planning and reviews, coaching employees, and carrying out disciplinary action when necessary. The manager will also be responsible for managing cross functional teams and performing other duties as required.
