Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience with contract management, including vendor management, contract analysis and negotiation, and contract compliance.
Core Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Typically possesses seven or more years' experience in program or contract management.
- Demonstrated experience with project management techniques and tools in order to track project progress, allocate resources, and report on project results.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with vendors and project managers in order to resolve contractual issues.
- Demonstrated experience with financial analysis and reporting, including invoicing.
- Must demonstrate the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, and manage information
- Must demonstrate effective decision making, results delivery, team building, and the ability to stay current with relevant technology and innovation.
- Must demonstrate strong ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
COMMENTS: Additional testing may be required as part of the selection process for this position. This is a full-time, project regular position for a duration of 20 months. This position is eligible for company benefits and incentives during the duration of the assignment.

Demonstrated knowledge of Edison's SmartConnectTM. Demonstrated experience working with manufacturing industry.
Typical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be an individual contributor responsible for management of hardware and software vendors for the SmartConnectTM Project. The program manager will track contract deliverables, and provide support and leadership to cross functional team members on contractual matters. This will also include contract development and negotiations; contract compliance; vendor relationship management; and vendor performance management. The program manager will work with SmartConnectTM subject matter expert's and Procurement and Law personnel to develop or modify contracts, evaluate and analyze existing contracts, and facilitate resolution of contractual disputes and/or claims. In addition, he/she will review and recommend approval for vendor invoices related to hardware and software purchases, professional services, travel, and other services. This will include performing various financial analyses and generating related reports. As part of continuous improvement efforts, he/she will develop, enhance, and provide oversight to SmartConnectTM processes including monthly forecasts, change orders, and invoicing. This individual will also oversee various projects and performing other duties as assigned.
