Development Manager at Semaphore Mobile, LLC (Richardson, Texas United States)

Richardson Based, Semaphore Mobile, LLC, has an immediate full-time opening for an Application Development Manager. Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree and extensive experience managing small, fast paced development teams with changing projects using Agile, Scrum, XP, or some variation. The candidate must have a proven track record of bringing projects through to completion within the project timeline and scope. Must have experience with project scoping, schedule management, and quality assurance management. A development background is required and a mobile background is preferred.

Semaphore Mobile prefers to maintain the development environment focused in F/OSS software to the highest degree possible. The standard toolset includes Git for Version control, Redmine for our ticketing and project management system, Ruby on Rails for the majority of web applications, and Ubuntu Linux for the Servers. The preferred candidate would have experience with and prefer this type of environment.

Required Skills
B.S. in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
