We are currently seeking an Online Advertising Account Executive who will be responsible for developing and executing business strategy to grow national advertising revenues for industry leading provider of private label web portal sites for multiple broadband ISP partners. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in online ad sales at an ad network or publisher site. Responsibilities include meeting target revenue goals in the defined vertical. We're looking for an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing client base. You must be results-driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities. The Online Advertising Account Executive is expected to understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of Synacor's ad sales organization, and Synacor's value proposition to the advertising community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
â?¢ Manage online advertising sales opportunities, close deals, manage contracts and sales performance
â?¢ Meet online advertising revenue targets
â?¢ Set business requirements for ad units, devise ad placement strategies and define inventory and provide monthly revenue forecasts
â?¢ Balance objectives of publishers with business goals and objectives of Synacor
â?¢ Identify and engage with ad sales partners including ad sales agencies, ad insertion and tracking platform providers, etc. to maximize value of inventory
â?¢ Work closely with Ad Operations to launch and support campaigns
â?¢ Develop custom sales materials for prospective clients
â?¢ Create target list of strategic advertisers and strategy to attract them
â?¢ Regular tracking and reporting on results
â?¢ Work with Finance and Partner Relations team to insure proper ad revenue sharing with ISP partners.
â?¢ Respond to RFPs professionally and accurately
What you'll need to bring to the table:
â?¢ BA required
â?¢ 3-5 years of online advertising experience in sales is required; online video/rich media ad sales
â?¢ experience a plus
â?¢ Ability to telecommute/work from home
â?¢ Solid understanding of standard online advertising metrics and performance measurements
â?¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
â?¢ Strong work ethic and a creative problem solver
â?¢ Experience with SalesForce.com a plus
â?¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
â?¢ Ability to work effectively as part of a team
â?¢ Proven track record of generating new business, growing existing relationships and exceeding revenue goals
