Position Overview
MyFit is looking for a Web Architect / Experienced senior software engineer to grow and scale its web environment. We use Spring MVC, JSP, JSTL, jQuery, Java in the front end as well as Hibernate, Lucene, Clojure, MySQL and MongoDB on our backend. This is a critical role in the MyFit core engineering team and represents a significant opportunity to grow inside the company.
Responsibilities
Make it work: Solve our complex architectural and software issues
Coach the team: Help the people on the team learn how to solve their issues
Plan: Architect the long-term architecture of our systems
Execute: Engineer, Code & Test our web site, web services and data storage to deliver high performance
Teamwork: Work with our cross-functional team to continuously enhance our features and ideas
