Position:
The Web Application Engineer will assist in the development of WIBs social network applications, mobile platform, API layer and stand alone site. This position will garner much exposure as you will work side by side and report directly to WIBs founder and CTO, Craig Ulliott.

Requirements:
Strong comprehension of web and web-related technologies
Server-side application development in PHP
User-side application development in HTML, CSS, and Javascript
Solid knowledge of SQL
Confident problem solver and troubleshooter
Comfortable working in a Linux environment
Comfortable using a Mac
A great appreciation of the entire web stack (a true life-cycle developer)

It would be really cool if you had these too.
Unit testing (test driven development)
Linux
The command line
Ability to set up and maintain nix servers
MYSQL (innodb, transactions, stored procedures, indexing multiple columns, replication, cluster, etc.)
Scaling, optimization, memcache, and actionscript
PHP and Jquery
Data parsing and scraping
Any special interests like natural language processing
Third Party APIs
AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Open Solaris
Map reduce (hadoop)
Open source projects
Internationalization
Mobile development
JSON / XML / YAML
Caching (or anything else pertaining to scale)
Bash scripting, specifically when it comes to code pushes, etc.
Image generation (gdlib, etc)
