We are looking for an open-minded, passionate, incredibly talented, creative and quick expert Python/Django web developer. Be prepared to think and create independently and to be ready for any number of development challenges. The person we are looking for should also be able to assimilate to a fast-paced work environment, articulate his/her ideas clearly and work well with others.
What your job will consist of:
- An uber nice (slightly geeky) work environment
- Excellent coffee served daily
- Building and maintaining web applications in Django
- Creating and maintaining Python Applications
- Scripting web pages using Javascript
- All manners of cutting edge web development
- Participate in creating and implementing new features
- Actively investigate new tools and methods to support and improve the computing environment
- Brainstorming new and exciting ideas with the team
- Troubleshooting and bug fixes
What your job won't consist of:
- Anything resembling a cubicle
- Timesheets
- Useless and baseless meetings
- Writing technical documentation
- Any dress code whatsoever
- TPS Report Cover Sheets
How you shine (Not Required):
- Having worked with other web development frameworks
- Work with NoSql storage engines
- Organization and Punctuality
- Having contributed to open source projects
- Having your own open source project
Compensation:
We are looking for a person to join our team as a full-time, long-term member. We are prepared to extend both a generous starting salary and the opportunity to be a part of future growth.
