Fuel Server Developers are responsible for creating and supporting our MMO server technologies that are used in some of our largest titles, including All Girl Arcade's Spark City. Our developers are responsible for creating the glue that serves to bind our Flash applications together, providing services that encapsulate communication between clients, data access and storage, and game logic.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid Understanding of Object Oriented Development in a Structured Language ( C++, Java, C#, etc. )
- Experience in Object Oriented Design and an above average knowledge of Algorithms
- Familiarity with Database Design and Normalization
- Solid understanding of socket based development, multithreaded server development, and the TCP/IP Stack
ALSO DESIRABLE:
- Database scaling techniques ( Sharding, Replication, High Availability )
- Experience with Java libraries, including Hibernate and EHCache
- Practical experience with one or more dynamic web programming languages ( PHP, Ruby, Python, etc. )
