Hudson River Trading is a quantitative trading firm based in New York City. We are seeking a bright, hard-working individual to join our Algorithm Developer group. This is a new role which is a hybrid of research and software development. In this position you will be improving all of HRTs technology and systems, from optimizing code with low-level OS hackers to analyzing market structure & data feeds to designing better simulators. The role offers outstanding exposure to complex, open-ended problems, data analysis, software design, and high-performance computing. At HRT we encourage collaborative, yet self-directed work.

- Can look at code, figure out how it works, and how to make it better
