The Internet Services Engineering Group is responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining all systems related to Internet Services. The majority of systems are OSX based XServe, Solaris 10 based SUN servers, NetApp filers, Load balancers, etc. The applications running on those servers are a mix of standard software packages as well as "home grown" applications. Internet Services is looking for an experienced Unix System admin that is looking for a challenge in a cutting edge environment. Qualified individuals will be will be responsible for all aspects of hardware and configuration management for thousands of systems. The focus will be on Installation and configuration of systems and hardware, inventory management and audits.

The applications running on those servers are a mix of standard software packages as well as internal applications. Internet Services is looking for an experienced SA looking for a challenge in a cutting edge environment.
- Minimum 3-7 years in UNIX system administration in a large environment (50+ servers).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Background in OSX/BSD, SOLARIS, Linux and networking
- Familiarity with the following: Apache, sendmail, ssh, java
- Jumpstart, Kickstart, Netboot/Netrestore, DHCP
Preferred Experience:
- ORACLE
- Network Appliance, NetScalar
- SAN, NAS
- UNIX related software development
- SUNOne Messaging and SUNOne directory services (formerly known as Netscape or iPlanet)
- Veritas
- VMWare
Education:
Technical BS/MS degree or equivalent work experience
