As an entry-level position, the Junior Developer is dedicated to learning OnBase and the procedures of the Hyland Software Development department with a focus on bringing coding and troubleshooting abilities up to the standards expected of an OnBase Developer. Daily work involves working under a mentor to produce software based on a design provided by a more experienced developer.

Responsibilities Include:
- Accept and learn from guidance provided by your development mentor
- Troubleshoot and solve production issues under the supervision of a more experienced developer
- Write production quality code that is maintainable, easy to troubleshoot, and efficient
- Create documentation as required
- Work with the software testing department to develop effective test plans
- Learn OnBase, with a focus on the module(s) you will be working on
- Learn SQL and basic database concepts

Requirements:
- At least a 4 year technical degree or equivalent experience
- Experience programming in C++, C#, Java, and/or HTML/JavaScript
- Beginning understanding of usage of Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Basic knowledge of OnBase® software (usage and/or programming)
- Ability to work through a problem effectively and provide a solution
- Ability to accurately follow directions
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams
- Experience programming in structured languages
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Windows programming
