This position will have the experience of both web and print. Print responsibilities will include managing and executing layout design for our quarterly technology supplement, technology@cu, research reports, monthly reports --  from pre-production to press.  This position will assisti in the layout of the our quarterly publication, CUSP. This position will work as a lead designer in maintaining, adapting, updating and creating a variety of marketing collateral for our subsidiary organization (Student Choice) that is within company brand standards. They will additionally lend design support for yearly (directory) flagship publication as well as a variety of marketing print collateral; work with marketing department to execute online ad requests; help in developing creative solutions to meet specific product objectives across all departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Manage quarterly Technology@CU, the Callahan Report, and other research reports production schedules

·         Lead designer for creating and maintaining Student Choice marketing collateral

·         Main point of contact for all webinar online advertising

·         Assist in design for print and online specialty marketing projects

·         Assist with email design as well as web graphic support for various sites

Requirements:

•         Minimum 2-3 years of “real world” experience since graduation

•         Understanding of printing processes and how they will affect design projects

•         Strong print production abilities using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

•         Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

•         Ability to multi-task

•         Willingness to learn new things and accept direction to achieve project objectives

•         Self-motivated with good organizational skills, strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through

•         Ability to perform creative work under tight deadlines and have the ability to work independently, as well as a team member, and to successfully manage concurrent and competing projects

•         Strong understanding of web principles and knowledge of html and CSS a plus
