Position Description:
The Web Developer / Designer will work directly with internal business customers to analyze interactive marketing requirements needed to support business marketing and growth goals, and work with other INVISTA Interactive Marketing team members to deliver targeted solutions.
The candidate must be able to work effectively (often multi-tasking) across a wide variety of technologies and disciplines, and effectively interact with business, technical, and creative resources. The candidate will also rely on excellent oral and written communications skills as well as strong customer service skills as they will support and interact in a diverse, global customer base.
Experience required:
Associate?s degree with 3+ years of experience in the following:
? HTML design and coding in the latest W3C recommendations for Visual Formatting Models and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS2)
? Experience with JavaScript programming (access and manipulation of DOM elements) and an understanding of AJAX capabilities.
? Experience with creation and processing of XML.
? Experience with creation and access of interactive database structures through a programming or scripting language.
Experience preferred:
? Prior interactive agency employment
? Search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
? Basic graphic creation and manipulation using software such as Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks.
