Esty Environmental Partners is looking for hard-working managing consultants to join our office in Washington DC. Working under the direction of the firm's partners, our managing consultants lead project teams and are responsible for structuring and delivering high-impact environmental strategy consulting services. Qualifying candidates will have a deep interest in the interface of business and the environment, a strong understanding of the consulting process, and world-class relationship management, organizational, project and client management skills.
We are looking for colleagues who can: understand and assess the long-term environmental strategy needs of our clients; define, organize, and execute high-impact projects to address those needs; build lasting relationships with our clients; and advance the capabilities, reputation, and stature of EEP. QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Five or more years of work experience as a strategy or marketing consultant at a top-tier management consulting firm.
Education: Undergraduate degree and MBA or similar graduate-level management degree from top-tier schools, strong academic record.
Environment/business: Strong interest in corporate environmental strategy and management; work experience in environment-related role and knowledge of environmental sustainability field preferable.
Data Analysis: Ability to rapidly gather information and structure, execute, and present persuasive analyses; strong quantitative analytical skills and the ability to synthesize diverse types of information; the maturity to appropriately balance business and environmental imperatives.
Organization/management: Very strong organizational skills, project management skills, and proactive, self-motivated follow-through. Ability to manage a team of reports, peers, and client staff to complete a project.
Relationships: Outstanding relationship-building skills, ability to build long term trust relationships clients at an executive level.
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to assemble, edit, and deliver complex presentations; mastery of PowerPoint, Word, and other communications programs.
